Website design
Case study: D'Argenta
Since 1976 D'Argenta has made sculpture finished in silver and gold in Mexico City. Its website has had four lives before mine.
The story
D'Argenta's collections run from pieces inspired by Salvador Dalí and Frida Kahlo to studies of animal and marine life. Every one is finished by hand, which is exactly what a website has the hardest time showing.
Each generation of the site was a product of its moment. Looking at them in order shows what a brand like this needs online: the pieces first, then a way to buy them, then a way to keep the conversation going.

The first website
A black page, a leopard sculpture and a list of collections. A catalogue, not yet a shop.

The second website
Built around a Flash player and the 'Silver Elegance' line — beautiful for its time, invisible to search engines and to phones.

The third website
A cleaner, image-led site opening on the 'Pure Beauty' abstract collection.

The fourth website
The first real online shop: categories, recent products and seasonal campaigns.

My design
I redesigned dargenta.com on Wix as a brand site and a store in one: the collections, a newsletter, customer accounts with wish lists and order tracking, and a chat to reach the team.
In 2026 I began moving the D'Argenta sites to headless Astro on Wix, starting with dargentaawards.com and dargentaenterprise.com: fast server-rendered pages, every language linked through the sitemaps, and Wix bookings and inbox behind them.
The technical story
How the move to headless Astro was done, what it measured and what broke on the way is in its own article.
